Bring Your Own Beamer, Norway

The concept Bring Your Own Beamer, created by artist Rafaël Rozendaal, is series of one night exhibitions around the world exploring the medium of projection. The idea is simple: find a place, invite many artists, and ask them to bring their projectors.

I initiated and organised the first Norwegian edition of the international art project Bring Your Own Beamer in Oslo during the summer solstice.

To manage the midnight sun I organised the drop of four shipping containers to use as blackout spaces. Each of the ten artists could project whatever they wanted, wherever they wanted, on whatever was in or around the space at the time
